About The Artist

Fun Fact...
In 2010, President Obama and his family visited Asheville, NC, and ate at the 12 Bones Smokehouse where Bob's artwork was on display at the time. These two images show of when Obama was in the restaurant with paintings on the wall behind. Both the portrait and the monkey pieces were painted by none other than Bob Davis himself.
Bob Davis, originally from Brecksville, Ohio, is an artist now local to the Asheville, North Carolina area. He creates art with a variety of mediums including acrylic paintings and wooden boxes with clay sculptures. Most recently, though, Bob has been creating pencil drawings with vibrant colors as well as making prints. You may have seen his work in local restaurants or coffee shops around the Asheville and Hendersonville, but now you can check out his work in this virtual gallery!
